GENERAL INFORMATION
The official home of Gone with the Wind, Clayton County is as rich in history as it is in its people. Today, Clayton County boasts over 200,000 people. Hartsfield International Airport plays a major role in the counties population, employment, and economic success. Hartsfield employs approximately 35,000 people, 12,000 of them living in Clayton County. The price of housing, cost of living, and the convenience of major interstates and downtown Atlanta make Clayton County an inviting and convenient place to live.
HOUSING

SCHOOLS
Clayton County is home to 30 elementary schools, 12 middle schools, and 8 high schools. Elementary schools serve students in kindergarten-5th grade, middle schools serve grades 6-8, and high schools serve grades 9-12. Several private schools are also located in the county. Clayton College and State University, located in Morrow, offers Baccalaureate and Associate degrees through the University System of Georgia, as well as vocational and technical degrees.

Fayetteville and Fayette (the county seat) were both named by American soldiers in honor of General Marquis de Lafayette. Fayette County offers many additional history highlights. For example, the County Courthouse is listed with the National Register of Historic Places as the oldest courthouse in Georgia.
Highlights of Fayette County include: Peachtree City, one of the most successful master-planned communities in the country, consisting of 15,000 acres of business parks, golf courses and recreation, and homes in a variety of price ranges. Fayette County offers one of the highest-rated school systems in Georgia. The County has 13 elementary schools, 6 middle schools, and 6 high schools. Elementary schools serve students in kindergarten-5th grade, middle schools serve grades through 6-8, and high schools serve grades 9-12. One alternative school is available and a number of private schools.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Named in honor of American Revolution war hero, Patrick Henry, Henry County empompasses almost 350 square miles including McDonough, Stockbridge, Locust Grove, and Hampton. Being almost the midpoint, Henry County is home to many who commute to work to both Macon and Atlanta.
Once a slow growing rural county, Henry County is the second fastest growing county in the metro area. In fact, since 1990, the population has more than doubled. While continuing to grow, Henry County is still home to older Victorian and 19th century buildings. McDonough's Historic Square is one of the many places that offer a glimpse at this beautiful Southern Charm.
TRAVEL
More than 20 miles of I-75 traverse the County. Interstate I-675 allows easy access to Interstate 85 North and Interstate 20 East via I-285. Henry County is approximately 15 miles from the Atlanta Airport and 20 miles from Downtown Atlanta.

Henry County is also home to Eagle's Landing Christian Academy and Bible Baptist Christian School. Both of the above are private schools.
